He began his career as a commercial loan officer and tax specialist, assisting business owners in identifying investment opportunities, financing strategies, and tax planning. Transitioning to a commercial bank as Vice President and commercial lender, he honed his skills in business evaluation and risk assessment. Jay's entrepreneurial ventures include owning a precast step manufacturing company, which he transformed into a top architectural producer in New England before marketing & selling it to a larger concrete producer. He then ventured into bid consulting, successfully managing challenging precast projects.
For the last 20 years, Jay focused on the concrete equipment industry, designing & retrofitting control systems for batch plants across North America, modernizing the precast industry. With his extensive expertise, he has collaborated with European batch plant manufacturers to design and implement cutting-edge production systems for various types of precast concrete.
Jay successfully employs a comprehensive plant assessment approach to drive client’s continuous improvement in plant maintenance programs, employee knowledge, and modern equipment integration.
