Jay Newton Truliance Principal Consultant, brings over 30 years of diverse business experience, specializing in the precast industry and plant optimization and expansion. He began his career as a commercial loan officer and tax specialist, assisting business owners in identifying investment opportunities, financing strategies, and tax planning. Transitioning to a commercial bank as Vice President and commercial lender, he honed his skills in business evaluation and risk assessment.
Jay’s entrepreneurial ventures include owning a precast step manufacturing company, which he transformed into a top architectural producer in New England before marketing and selling it to a larger concrete producer. He then ventured into bid consulting, successfully managing challenging precast projects.
For the last 20 years, Jay Newton Truliance consultant has focused on the concrete equipment industry, designing and retrofitting control systems for batch plants across North America, modernizing the precast industry. With his extensive expertise, he has collaborated with European batch plant manufacturers to design and implement cutting-edge production systems for precast concrete.
Jay employs a comprehensive plant assessment approach to drive client improvements in plant maintenance programs, employee training, and the integration of modern equipment. His work aligns closely with Plant Optimization and Expansion, helping producers achieve measurable gains in throughput and efficiency.
Before joining Truliance, Jay served as the Solutions Specialist in the precast division at SIMEM America Inc. Today, as part of Truliance, he continues to deliver solutions in concrete production, automation, project management, bid negotiation, financial coaching, and risk assessment to support the success of precast concrete producers.
